Keeping Customer Data Up to Date with Nodify Flows
Overview
The customer contacts are always changing due to ever changing sales requirements. The contact information must be up to date in order to avoid possible delays for deliveries and payments. The company created a section directed to Nodify Flows at its partner portal where the customers could update their data with the approval of the account manager of the customer. Using Nodify Flows and Nodify ERP Connector, the data is updated on the ERP with all historical information kept at Nodify layer in case of a conflict.
Key Outcomes
- The customers can update their data on the system with multi factor authentication.
- The users of the customers can update their data simultaneously.
Challenges
- All data updates were handled by email, and it was a manual process. The account managers were not able to always keep the data up to date. There were issues at the time of the product deliveries those were causing serious problems.
- The identity of the user must be verified before allowing the user to make changes.
Solution
- The process was designed and configured by Nodify Flow Designer.
- Data entry parts were configured with Nodify Form Designer.
- A new form designed and integrated into the flow using Nodify Flows API.
- Nodify MFA Authenticator was used to verify user identity before allowing the user to update their data.
- Using Nodify ERP Connector, only the data the user could update was presented to the user.
